Digital Ethics Forum
FOR AN INCLUSIVE, SECURE AND SUITABLE INNOVATION
1-2 October 2020
The foundation GCSEC of Poste Italiane is partner of Digital Ethics Forum (DEF), two days of streaming conferences organized by the Sloweb association to examine in depth some of the most important ethical issues on production, distribution, use, and the impact of digital technologies on people and society.
The events of the last period stimulate us to look critically at the use of technologies and to focus on online behaviour of the public sector and private individuals and citizens, to understand how this influences our choices and habits.
By reflecting and studying these mechanisms, we intend to provide participants and all of us with new theoretical and practical instruments to move ethically and consciously in the use of digital tools.
By studying web ethics – from production, to distribution, to the use of software products and hardware technologies – the DEF intends to inform about the most current ethical issues in the digital world, with the aim of intriguing and encouraging individuals to start a struggle for a fairer digital.
For the occasion of the event, all DEF attendees can access to the shareholders’ meeting of Sloweb, a Turin association that promotes a conscious use of the web.
