GCSEC PARTICIPATES TO ‘MAKING THE CONNECTION: THE FUTURE OF CYBER AND SPACE’
The event ‘Making the Connection: The Future of Cyber and Space’, organized by Chatham House, will be held on 23-24 January 2013 at Chatham House, London.This event will focus on security in the intersecting domains of outer space and cyber space, and will bring together policy experts and decision makers to discuss contemporary challenges and propose pathways for progress. It will look at technological developments, vulnerabilities and dependence, and international policy development.

GCSEC Director-General, Andrea Rigoni, will participate as speaker to Session 1 | Trends and Developments in Cyber+Space, on the topic: What are the emerging technologies in the cyber+space domain, what are their potential applications, and who are the competitors and collaborators? What are the corresponding national and international benefits, including opportunities for greater resilience, connectivity, and societal benefit? How might private and public sector investment and cooperation in cyber and space technologies change in the next decade?
