GCSEC will participates to Digital Agenda Assembly 2012 that will take place in Brussels on 21 and 22 of June 2012 in the premises of EU Institutions.General-Director Andrea Rigoni will participates to Workshop 7 on Security in the panel 1 on ‘Internet/ICT Security and economic growth – Reinforcing EU capabilities‘.
The workshop 7 on Security will identify priorities and actions needed in the field of Internet Security in Europe, global challenges of Internet security and how to address them from a European perspective, the role of ICT security innovation in the European digital economy and how to further stimulate it.
The Digital Agenda for Europe is the European Union’s roadmap for bringing the benefits of a digital society and economy to Europe’s citizens.
The main objectives of the Assembly are to:
- Assess progress to date on implementation towards the Digital Agenda’s goals and actions and seek ways to improve delivery;
- Identify challenges ahead for the implementation of the Digital Agenda and for the information society in general;
- Mobilise stakeholders’ actions to make further progress and address challenges.
