POSTE ITALIANE PARTICIPATA AL SAFER INTERNET DAY 2014
Poste Italiane participates at Safer Internet Day 2014, a project organised by Insafe yearly in February to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the worldSafer Internet Day 2014 is being celebrated today, 11 February 2014. The strapline for the campaign is “Let’s create a better internet together”.On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, the Postal and Communications Police, as a special edition of the project “Una vita da Social”, sponsored by Poste Italiane, has organized seminars and meetings on cyber bullying in the Italian schools of 100 Italian provincial capitals and will meet more than 60 000 children.

“Connected Generations” is the Italian Internet Safer Centre, a new project, promoting a safe and responsible use of the Internet and new media by young people. It is coordinated by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, in collaboration with Save the Children Italy, Telefono Azzurro, the Postal Police and Communications Department, Child and Adolescents Watchdog Authorities, the E.D.I. Cooperative and the Citizens Defense Movement.
For the Safer Internet Day, the Italian Safer Internet Centre will launch the national awareness raising campaign “Se mi posti, ti cancello”. The online Campaign will invite teenagers to actively share their on line experiences, participating in the production of a web series.
