Security Session, an exclusive moment dedicated to CyberSecurity where Executive and experts share expiriences and best practice to help you to design strateges to protect your Digital Estate (assets, infrastuctures, data, information, device and application) in an effective, integrates and compliant way.
In a scenario in which cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated and changeable over time, the needs of security teams are constantly changing, requiring increasingly specialized personnel able to cope with a constantly changing environment. Unfortunately, this already demanding task of companies to protect themselves against cyber threats is aggravated by skill shortage, or the lack of skills in the CyberSecurity sector.
To analyze this phenomen and provide suggestions for its mitigation, Global Cyber Security Center has founded and supported a research project conducted by the University of Oxford whose results will be presented during the meeting. The objective of the study was to analyze the characteristics and causes of the shortage and the actions taken by the 12 countries with the highest ICT development index and Cyber Security to mitigate it. A special focus was dedicated to the Italian scenario. The study, in fact, provides a complete analysis of skills shortages in the CyberSecurity sector in Italy, also presenting the results of a survey addressed to CISOs throughout the country.
Meeting will be held on Microsoft House, viale Pasubio 21 Milan, from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
